We are a licensed 24hr (Non Medical) Adult Residential Care facility providing personal care, assistance with medication, ADL activities and scheduled regular doctor and dentists visits. Our friendly staff prepares all meals and snacks which includes packed lunches for those who work or attend Day Care programs. Staff provides housekeeping, laundry service and transportation to weekly planned activities. Private rooms are fully furnished and residents can decorate according to their style. WiFi and internet service are included. Room TVs can be furnished for a fee. We provide service to ambulatory individuals with varying needs including intellectual disabled, autistic adults and more. Wagonwheel Residential Care is a four bedroom 2 full bath single family home in San Bernardino, California. The gated front yard is beautifully landscaped with a seating area to enjoy the mountain view. The backyard has a covered patio for outside dining and a garden box for growing plants and vegetables.
Wagonwheel Residential Care has an administrator with 15 years of experience caring for people with developed mental disabilities. She has worked with incontinent residents and successfully managed residents with injurious behavior, verbally and physically aggressive and resistive behavior. We focus on person centered care where everyone can thrive in a clean, organized well run home with friendly staff.

The philosophy of Waymaker Care Services Inc. is that people who have developmental disabilities should enjoy all that life has to offer, and that includes the right to have input into their lives, their occupation, schooling, and daily activities. They have a right to live in a home like setting, and enjoy the benefits of community resources available to them.
Statement of Purpose
My purpose of starting an adult residential care home is to help those in need by providing a safe and loving, family home environment. I grew up in the foster care system and having experienced being placed in different homes, I learned to adjust to my environment and make the best of my situation. Now I want to change someone’s life for the better and provide quality care to people with disabilities and help them overcome behavior and physical challenges. My goal is to understand the behavior, wants and needs of each person and structure activities to help them learn how to get along with others in the home, and in the community. I want to encourage them to express their feelings, and recognize situations that trigger unhealthy behavior and emotions. The overall wellbeing of each person is important and maintaining good health through exercise, healthy eating, adequate rest and regular doctor visits will help improve their quality of life.
